Angela Ferreira is a Cardiff based artist living in Wales who since young age has traveled extensively witch has strong influences in her works.

Angela Ferreira was born in 1978 in Portugal, sharing the same birthday as Wassilly Kandinky. The very famous and typical castle of her home town has a strong influence for her passion about fairytales which she grew up with a very good view from her bedroom window. But she says it is the green valleys and the magical atmosphere of Wales in particular that inspire her to create ever more fantastic paintings of dream-like 'wonderlands'. It is through these imaginative paintings that she expresses her spiritual journeys within this world with a little bit of surrealism mixed in.
Angela has lived and studied in the USA where she won a School Art Award for outstanding achievement and recently, her work has been published twice by National Geographic School books across USA.

Angela has spent one month in Brazil in an international program of Youth & Ecology, raising awareness of global problems and finding local solutions.
In 1997, Angela moved to Wales where she’s been living since, and this year has graduated with a BA Hons Fine Art degree from UWIC.
Angela’s paintings seem to be telling a story, a fairytale... Her goal is to bring cultures together, transmit good inner feelings, positive energy and to take your eyes on a journey to a different imaginative world.
