Emma Taylor

I am enthusiastic about art, both the practical side as well as the theory behind art. I would call myself a mixed media artist, more recently I have been concerned with textile installation work using lighting and I have acquired a strong passion for photography since I have completed my degree.
I am currently looking for full-time job opportunities having recently completed my degree gaining a BA Honours in Fine Art at The University of Lincoln. On a personal level I believe myself to be a friendly, enthusiastic, creative, hard working reliable and trustworthy individual who can multi-task to meet objectives in a timely manner.

Work Experience:

· Parker Hydraulics, Grantham 15/09/2008 – 25/09/2008
Temping through Ambitions Personnel employed as a Receptionist.

My roles included; using the switchboard and tannoy system, ensuring that the post was organized using the franking machine and incoming post was distributed to the appropriate people. General reception duties which included greeting guests, signing them in and keeping the reception area clean and tidy. I was also given other tasks such as responding to queries regarding job vacancies and setting up the conference rooms for meetings and ensuring lunch buffets were ordered when important visitors were in the offices for the day.

· The Woodland Trust, Grantham 11/08/2008 – 29/08/2008
Temping through Ambitions Personnel employed to do Data Entry.
My role involved using their data entry system to record all of the sightings sent in by the public for various birds, insects, trees and flowers. Once the data had been entered the information obtained had to then be checked and the documents filed in alphabetical order.

· Downtown Superstore, Grantham 2003 – present
Part-time employment as a coffee shop assistant.
My roles include; food preparation, clearing and cleaning tables, serving hot and cold food and serving customers on the tills. As I have worked within this role for five years, I also often help out training new members of staff and help count the tills at the end of the day. I work all day both Saturday and Sunday and do extra hours during the holidays when I am not doing any other temping work. I thoroughly enjoy working in the coffee shop even though it is a very busy and sometimes a hectic place to work.

· Fun Farm, Grantham ( children’s indoor adventure playground ) 2002 – 2003
Part-time employment as a play group assistant and kitchen helper.

My roles included; serving food to customers, organizing and running the children’s birthday parties with food, birthday cake and party bags. As well as working on the reception desk where I answered the phones, took bookings for birthday parties and helped run the small gift shop.
