Statement:

Rosie likes to paint onto loose canvas, this allows the painting process to continue without boundaries, it keeps the paintings fluid, they are transitional and flexible.  This for Rosie, takes painting out of its traditional frame of reference. Rosie finds working in this way more exciting; anything could happen, new pieces could be added, irrelevant ones simply ripped out, this process is an important one that allows her to paint in an immediate and raw way, receptive to the subject and to the painting itself.
