Details on submitting and Disclaimer for Management of Exhibition fee

The Lloyd Gill Gallery is aiming to showcase the best Talent the UK and beyond has to offer

Each Artist needs to submit their Art work for free, which includes submitting a CD or DVD containing up to 12 images or 6 different short films , a Statement about the work, a CV including all past exhibitions, awards, press, education, teaching experience, travel bursaries and any thing else the Artist thinks is important. I also require full details about the work, including; Titles, Dimensions, Medium, Price (no commission) and Year Created.

The Gallery has a total of 2 main rooms and a hall consisting of 81 sq metres or 243 sq ft of wall space and a total of 100 sq metres or 300 sq ft of floor space.

The maximum amount of space entitled to one Artist is 4 metres of wall space or 4 sq metres of floor space.

There is no commission on sales.

Each Artist will receive an online portfolio of their work of up to 12 images or 6 short films and an independent CV and Statement pg. The Artist portfolios of previous Artists can be viewed on www.thelloydgillgallery.com/artists2.html

The Exhibition private view will be organised for you by the Gallery Director and includes 1000+ over - sized post card invites that are mailed out to networked Galleries and a growing client list of over 350. The gallery will provide wine for the evening for guests to enjoy and you are entitled to invites as many guests as you like. The Gallery would like to encourage you to invite past collectors to come to the private view. I will send you up to 5 full colour over - sized postcard invites that will state all of the participating Artists on the back.

The private view will be advertised as a Full colour 1/8 pg Advert in A - N magazine. There will be a 1/4 pg advert in the premier life style magazine AREA please view www.areamagazine.co.uk There will be a 1/4 pg full colour advert in Aesthetica Magazine www.aestheticamagazine.com

There will be a directory listing in the Guardian Guide and a directory listing in Evolver Magazine. There are other listings as mentioned below.

The Gallery Director will manage the exhibition for you and the fee is broken down into this:

£15 = Labour of web design (uploading your work and creating a portfolio pg and CV/ Statement pg) and graphic design for the A - N ad and private view invites. Labour of writing a professional press release that is posted on to the web site and sent to every gallery on the network list and all participating Artists.

£15 = Invigilation of the exhibition, giving a warm welcome to the public as they come to the Gallery on a daily basis and negotiation of sales during the whole period of the exhibition.

£75 = A Gallery exhibition listing in evolver magazine, the guardian saturday guide listing, A - N interface listing, Artshole web site listing, a listing in Aesthetica magazine, A 1/8pg full colour advert in A - N magazine advertising the private view to a distribution in the UK of 50,000.There will be a 1/4 pg advert in the Area Magazine, distribution of 10,000 (hand delivered) to wealthy areas of Bristol, Bath and Cheltham. £87 = Private View costs : Wine for guests, Post card invites, stationary to mail them out (envelopes, paper and stamps) to a client list of over 350 in London, Bristol, Bath and Weston – Super - Mare. I have networked with 35 of different galleries in the South west and they have agreed to putting our post card invites (20 each) on the reception desk ; including Spike Island, Bristol Arnolfini, black swan arts, Centre space and also Bristol Museum, World renown Weston Super Mare Helicopter Museum and other places of interest.

The total cost for one Artist to show their work at the Lloyd Gill Gallery is £192
