 Upon leaving University I moved to Liverpool. Here rented a space at Arena  Studios where I was able to develop my  early work. I stayed until 1998, following which I took up employment as an art lecturer, working in various colleges and leading to my living in Birmingham. During this time I experimented with various ideas and medias within my art practise, specifically looking at photography and digital imaging. In 2007 I made the decision to return to painting and concentrate much more of my time upon its development. This has continued to the present day.
