The ‘Living in the clouds’ series forms a personal allegory for
the artist’s life in the
Blue Mountains, west of Sydney, Austrtalia. He uses a wide range of media
including photography, sandstone, silver, gold leaf, copper, acrylic, and
wood.

Biography: For over thirty years Ian has been involved in the arts, and his
work can
be found in private collections around the world. Ian uses any medium that
seems
right for a given idea. He enjoys experimenting with space and colour, sound
and
form, rather than the technical aspects of any one medium. Often, his aim
is to
challenge accepted thought forms, while uplifting and inspiring the observer.
Education: left school early with the firm belief that society, as we know
it, had but a
