What does the Lloyd Gill gallery newsletter feature?

You will receive a full colour graphical newsletter twice every six weeks. The newsletter will feature new artists, current exhibition news, an invtitation to the exhibition scheduled, gallery links and exhibition opportunities to other recommended galleries, grant opportunities and other opportunities for artists. The newsletter specialises in reporting art news for global art collectors.

Gallery History

The gallery has shown Internationally renowned artists including Anne Brenner, Joan Kelly, Helga Kalversberg, Ricki Klages, Eva Bosch and Rossella Ramanzini. Please click the direct links to each artist profile. There are many more artists to view under the artists page at the top.

The gallery has drawn visitors from Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire, Cardiff, London and Europe including Denmark.

The Gallery is based in a Victorian House built in 1860 with all original Victorian features including architrave and cornices and wooden shutters. There are beautiful marble mantle-pieces which have been restored to former glory.

The gallery introduced 'The art sale' in August 2010. The galleries aim is to generate interest from local artists to show work. The art sale is not an exhibition. The art sale is for artists who can deliver art work by hand and aims to benefit the local art community. 'Is This It.'

Preview night 21st January,

Exhibition dates are 23rd January - 17th February



The art in the exhibition will propel a feeling of human behavior and cultural identity through expressing the human form in a multitude of guises.  The human body can be used to express emotion, playfulness, joy, love, hate, dexterity, sexuality, fatigue, melancholy, and thought. The art in this exhibition will form a united stand towards what us humans endear through life, the good, the bad and the not so pretty. Some of the art work will encounter the exhibitions
title question, 'Is This It?' and delve into Philosophical whims that relate to human existence.
