Photography is my passion as far as a I can remember. I forgot in what circumstances my first camera came into my hands. I was 8, however I remember my boy's passion when taking my very first pictures. Over the years I have developed my skills and knowledge, but the passion stayed the same. This passion is a foundation of my art. I build my pictures upon this foundation. Build seems to be more appropriate than take a picture because normally I create the pictures in my head first, sometimes I make rough drownings, then I grab my camera. After that I work in darkroom or digital darkroom which is my software, sometimes I use both. I am not sure if taking picture could be the whole process or just that moment of pressing little button. For my pictures words created, built or made seem to be much more suitable.

Photography is a part of visual language. Language with words, sentences and its historical luggage. We don't have to learn this language to be able to hear different sounds, we can catch some worlds, we can be pleasured by melody of this language but will we ever understand its meanning? Photography is my way of telling the truth or cheating to achieve certain meanings. Sometimes I create pictures to rise a questions and leave it open to an answer.

I am truly interested in relations between people, process of creating those relations and process of creating perception of our world. By our I mean one for each of us. Special and unique, created by our environment and experience, world which is limiting our boundary. Our world is something what makes us and our perception different.

I am Ipswich based photographer, but I was born and grown up in medium size town in Poland. I love to travel, I love meeting different people, different cultures. Travelling is perfect opportunity for finding new point of view. Few years ago I migrated to United Kingdom to start study of photography on University Campus Suffolk.

Deflated or Stories from behind the closed doors
My project is trying to challenge the boundary of a document, however the project could be read on many different layers. My pictures have their roots in the stories that I heard from different people through my life time. The stories are as true as I can recall them. I can not be absolutely sure that my memories are true. Some stories I have heard a few years ago, and through these years my brain probably filtrated these memories, I haven't had hard copies of them.
I am not sure if the images constructed upon these stories can be called documents, even if they still have the main features of a document: the pictures are related to certain points in time. However this definition brings next question: where is this certain point?
