Statement
The key themes that I use in my work are history and playfulness. Within my work I combine a relationship with the material and the image. This is because I feel that the material is as important as the picture to bring over my ideas as a whole. The process is important as the images are chosen with the materials in mind, as the material has a connection with each image I choose. A certain material like the rust on the ‘Moon Landing’ picture connects with the idea of time passing. These are the sorts of connections I like to play with. Through having these connections it brings more value and understanding to the work, so that the viewer can relate to it more.
